Fresh and frozen fish and seafood process and distribution
“Congelados Namare” is established at the beginning of 2004 by Mr. José Ignacio Martín Granda, asturian, born in Avilés. He embarks on business world after been working in the frozen industry for many years.
As many entrepreneurs, he starts working very young. He has unloaded lorries, he has cut, handled and classed fish and seafood. He has learnt this knowledge, experience and good working practice from his father Mr. José María Martín Hernández, who has acted a post which involves a great deal of responsibility in a company of this field for forty years.
José Ignacio, as known as Nacho in the frozen industry, set up his company in industrial premises with about 400 m2. He bought fish to suppliers from Vigo, Barcelona, Huelva,… that stored in a fridge-freezer and distributed in a little refrigerated truck by Avilés, Luanco, Candás, Castrillón,…
In the middle of 2005, he has increased his refrigerated trucks fleet and he has expanded the network with an important qualified and very experienced vending team who works through Asturias.
